Even though it is all relative with our own salary cap, yes I know we take the NBA salaries, but our free agency bidding is still relative to our cap..... lets discuss raising it.
My plan is to raise it 10 million this summer and the following 3 summers.
So this time in 2018 the soft cap will be 103 million.

Unless there is opposition the Ill insert the exceptions this summer as this:
MLE: 5.50
SSE: 5.80
Champion Exception: 5.81
Bigger playoff prize exception: 5.80
Smaller playoff prize exception: 4.65
Then next summer they will go to :
MLE: 6.25
SSE: 6.60
Champion Exception: 6.61
Bigger playoff prize exception: 6.60
Smaller playoff prize exception: 5.30

Im going to adjust these numbers for future years.
VBA teams have a salary cap 4m higher than the NBA this coming season, but 6m less than NBA teams next year. 15m less the year after.

estimated to be about $103 mil, considering we have less teams ours should be higher, I also wouldn't mind us having to adhere to the soft cap a little more strictly would definitely level the playing field on some of the teamswith crazy talent that costs insane amounts.

So now that we have basically Completed FA,
How is everyone feeling about the cap raise? To me, it did not feel to be enough... With the size of the contracts being handed out I think our cap is a tad too restrictive... When you could have two or three players taking up more than 60% of your available space.. Perhaps we could consider an even larger increase for next year? When medium sized contracts are projecting to be $10mill +...
Anyone else have any thoughts on it?

Agreed. The salaries basically doubled this summer...and next summer they will be tripled what they were last year. 10 mill is now the difference of adding Mozgov.
